PhD in Biology (UPV) and expert in fish biology, assessment and management of fisheries and ecosystems. Coordinator of the Sustainable Fishing Area (ICES) of AZTI. She has been involved in several EU projects related to management plans and has also worked with the artisanal fleet and the effects of different uses of the sea on fishing. Participates in different international forums where assessments of the stock of fishery species are carried out: ICES, GFCM, IUCN and CITES.
