José Manuel González is an Agricultural Engineer, specialized in food industries.
Since 2007 he works for the EU Programmes Division of CDTI as Spanish Delegate to Bioeconomy under FP7 and H2020. Currently, he is the head of the Spanish Delegation to Horizon Europe Cluster 6 (Bioeconomy and Environment).
Prior to that he worked for more than 6 years as project manager for a consultancy firm specialized in food industries. In his last year, he took part of the Board of Directors of the company.
