Currently principal investigator at AZTI research centre, in the Sustainable and Efficient Processes group. Her research has focused in bioprocessing, in production of food bioactive ingredients (proteins, peptides, polyphenols) and biosurfactants in particular, in developing novel separation and purification strategies and in the characterisation of the physicochemical and functional properties of biomolecules.
