Smart Farming is defined as a development that emphasizes the use of information and communication technology in the cyber-physical farm management cycle. Its final goal is the optimization of agri-food processes using digital technologies. It uses tools that digitally collect, store, analyze and share data. Precision Agriculture is included among the techniques used by Smart Farming. In an ideal case these actions will be carried out by robots, with low interactions of humans. The opportunities offered to solve the problems of modern agriculture will be discussed in this session.
