Aitor Cevidanes

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine, with a Master’s and a PhD. He joined NEIKER’s Animal Health Dept. in 2020 as a postdoctoral researcher, and earned a Ramón y Cajal contract in 2022. His research centers on ectoparasites and vector-borne diseases at the wildlife–domestic–human interface, analyzing how global change factors—landscape, climate, biodiversity—affect zoonoses from a One Health perspective.
