María José Suarez Carpio

Graduate in Chemical Sciences (UPV-EHU) and one-year specialization in Packaging Technologies (Pira International, UK). After joining GAIKER in 1995, she became Senior Researcher in the Area of sustainable and functional polymers. In the last 10 years, she has coordinated the activity in private and national and international consortium projects, related to bioplastics and recycled polymers. She is GAIKER representative at Biobased Consortium Industries (BIC) and Evaluator for the EU EIC program.
